Langtang Trek

Welcome to Nepal. Representative of Alpine Wonder Treks receives you at the Tribhuwan International airport in Kathmandu and transfer you to the hotel. After a short rest, we brief you about the upcoming itinerary. O/N at hotel.

After the breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Syaphrubesi from Kathmandu. It’s a long way drive enjoying the panoramix views of the green hills, valleys, Rivers and the mountains. Reaching Syaphrubesi, we take a rest and prepare for the upcoming journey. Overnight at lodge.

After the breakfast, we begin to walk from the Lama Hotel, following the Langtang Khola/River. We gradually walk, enjoying the different landscape and frequently appearing tiny lodges and tea houses. We reach to the Lama Hotel and take a rest. Overnight at lodge.

From Lama hotel, we begin the trek with a breakfast. We walk through the thick rhododendron forest. The peaceful trail is excellent. Then we leave the forest behind and enter into the Langtang valley through Ghoda Tabela. Langtang Lirung entices us on the northern part. Langtang valley is located below the massive Langtang glacier. Overnight at the lodge.

Passing through the cattle grazing meadows, we begin to trek from langtang to Kyanjin. We get the surprising views of the Buddhist prayer flags that flutter around. Crossing some wooden bridges, we reach to Kyanjin village, which is famous for its monastery that lie in the village. Overnight at lodge.

After the breakfast, we begin the day hike from Kyanjin towards the Tserko Ri. We pack the lunch and head so that we can enjoy the entire day exploring the incredible views of the Langtang Lirung and more white peaks. Then we back to Kyanjin and rest. Overnight at lodge.

The wonderful prayer music at Kyanjin makes the breakfast tastier. Then we climb down enjoying the wonderful views and through the peaceful rhododendron forest. We gradually trek down towards the Lama Hotel and take a rest. Overnight at lodge.

It's the last day of walking in the Langtang trekking  route and on this day we will descend to Syabrubesi from Lama Hotel. The walk begins as the trekkers have their breakfast. The trail passes through dense forests. Furthermore, you will also get chances to witness rhododendron, oak, and pine forests throughout this section of the Langtang  trekking map.

It takes about 5 to 6 hours for any average trekker to cover this part of the route. As you reach Syabrubesi, our guides will take you to the hotel where you can take proper rest. Moreover, we also recommend the trekkers to stroll around the village and interact with the locals.

After the breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Kathmandu from Syaphrubesi. It’s a long way drive enjoying the panoramix views of the green hills, valleys, Rivers and the mountains. Reaching Syaphrubesi, we take a rest and prepare for the upcoming journey. Overnight at lodge.
